The apartment is part of a private development of 22 apartments set in their own beautiful gardens with a swimming pool.  It is on the Riviera del Sol (between Marbella & Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol).

There are bars, restaurants & shops and a good supermarket etc within walking distance of the apartment.

Beaches in this area don’t become crowded even in the summer as they are away from the tourist hotels. The local beach (with beach bar) is reached by footbridge over the road - about 5 minutes on foot. 

There are good sea views from the apartment & on clear days you can even see the Rock of Gibraltar. 
The towns of Marbella or Fuengirola are easily reached by car or frequent bus service.
The nearest airport is Malaga which is 25 minutes away by car.

DIRECTIONS FROM AIRPORT TO APARTMENT (approx 30 kms)
Leave Malaga airport following “N-340 ALGERCIRAS” signs.

Stay on the N-340, which is the new motorway, heading in the Algerciras direction.

There is now a new Toll Motorway which you should AVOID unless you already know the area.  The choice you will see on the motorway will be for either Marbella & Algeciras (Toll) or Fuengirola & Algeciras.  Make sure you take the latter.  If you make a mistake & end up on the Toll Motorway then you need to come off at the Calahonda exit & come back in the Fuengirola direction to get to Riviera del Sol. 

The N-340 motorway peters out to just dual carriageway at Fuengirola.  You will join the Fuengirola bypass which continues on & then bypasses La Cala also.

A few kms further on you take the ‘MIRAFLORES’ exit (km 198) (on right). 
There is a small crossroads - drive straight over (TAKE CARE HERE)
Jaramar is the first community on the left so turn left into the road 'Calle Sirius'.

(If you miss the turning off the main road, don’t panic, just take the next turning which is the main entrance to the RIVIERA DEL SOL.  Drive up the Avda del Golf, past the supermarket on your right & take the first right turn into Calle Sirius.  Keep going along this road around several bends, going straight across at the crossroads.  Jaramar is the last development on your right).

When you return to the airport at the end of your holiday, take care again as you get onto the motorway just past Fuengirola.  There is a lane that slips you on to the Toll Motorway if you are not careful & you might end up heading in the opposite direction towards Marbella!.

Show the taxi driver the address at the top of this sheet, & the following instructions:-
N-340  Tome salida ‘Miraflores’ (km 198)
Tome la calle segunda (Calle Sirius)
Jaramar dos es la primera communidad a mano izquierda

Try to get a price BEFORE you set off.  (very approx 45 euros - about £36).  (More after midnight).
